Rob is a global entrepreneur who has founded and run two startups, both acquired. Rob was founder and CEO of Gengo.com, a Tokyo- and San Francisco-based human translation platform, acquired by industry leader Lionbridge in 2019. In New York in 2016, Rob founded Farm. One, the first vertical farm to grow specialty produce, acquired in 2023. As part of Google’s Exploratory lab, Rob developed sustainability-focused moonshots for global brands. Rob has worked in the US, UK, Japan, Australia, Belgium and Hong Kong across a broad set of industries.
