USMAC, Aster & Align Commerce present the latest innovations from Italy!

As 2016 draws to a close, we are happy to host our final pitch event of the year with our cohort of 10 entrepreneurs from Italy! These young founders are participating in “The Emilia-Romagna in Silicon Valley: Mindset Program – 4th edition” which is designed to fast-track early-stage Italian tech innovators who are targeting Silicon Valley and San Francisco. These founders will have spent the past 2-weeks immersed in Silicon Valley startup culture via workshops, trainings, site visits, speakers and networking events.

This culminating event will be their chance to showcase their companies, and pitch to a panel of investors. Here are the details:

Date: Thursday, December 15, 2016
Time: 4:30 PM-7:00 PM
Location: DLA Piper LLP, 555 Mission Street, Suite 2400, San Francisco, CA 94105
Link to register:

Small bites and holiday refreshments will be served!

For more information on the founders and companies set to pitch (below), please review the Eventbrite page and the Google doc HERE.

We are also very excited to have our media partners at Align Commerce join us for the evening, where they will showcase how they have redesigned global money transfers. With their simplified approach, your company now has an easy way to send or receive payments to over 60 countries at a rate typically much lower than your bank charges you today. More time and money to put back into your business and not into archaic payment methods.

Our partners from Aster will be joining us as well. ASTER is the Consortium for innovation and technology transfer of Emilia-Romagna. Its partners are the Emilia-Romagna Regional Government, the six Universities and the National Research Centres located in the region (the National Research Council-CNR, the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development-ENEA, the National Institute for Nuclear Physics-INFN), the Regional Union of Chambers of Commerce, working in collaboration with regional Business Associations and Innovation Centres.
ASTER works in collaboration with enterprises, universities, research centres and institutions for the development of the innovation ecosystem of the territory.

We look forward to seeing you Thursday!
